October Art Show: Jo Forde

Join Jo Forde in our gallery on Friday, October 7th for the debut of her exhibition. Joanna’s art will be on display for the month of October in our lobby gallery.

Jo is a Portland based visual artist who focuses on abstract oil painting. She strives to capture the static electricity that exists in the quietest moments. Much of her work is inspired by her studies of physics and organic chemistry, specifically the parallels and patterns that emerge when observing the micro and macro worlds. She has participated in Ayatana Art Residency, curated Cavities Art Party, and been featured in Just Milieu Zine. In her free time she enjoys reading obscure philosophy, immersing in loud music, eating breakfast at Little Griddle, and guessing the names of animals she meets.
